October Birchbox: Breast Cancer Awareness

In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness month October's Birchbox focus' on Feeling Good. They have partnered with CoppaFeel to remind us of the importance of checking ourselves regularly. I am guilty of not checking myself as regular as I really should so from now on when I receive my Birchbox each month I will make sure to check myself.



Anatomicals - Grab Your Melons Shower Gel
Anatomicals have partnered with CoppaFeel to encourage self checking while lathering up. I love that this product again brings the importance of self checking to the forefront of your mind, but it also smells amazing! The fresh zesty melon scent is perfect to help wake you up on those week day mornings. Needless to say I can't wait to use this.

amika - Dry shampoo
As with many of us these days I love trying out new dry shampoo's. Anything that will put off hair wash night for another day is a god send in my book. The packaging is really inviting with its bright 60's inspired graphics and the scent is beautiful. I can't wait to test this out and report back.

BalanceMe - Pure Skin Face Wash
I've never tried anything by this brand before so i'm excited to give it a go. The Liz Earle cleanse and polish is my all time favourite face wash, so this will have to be something special to replace it in my make up bag. Saying that, it does have a really nice scent and is 99% natural which is always a plus.

Marcelle - BB Cream Golden Glow Illuminator
When I saw this in the box I was very excited, I am always looking for a good BB cream. My first worry was that it was going to be too dark (story of my life) but it actually looks ok, it definitely has more of a yellow tone than I would normally go for. The texture once blended reminds me of the Benefit POREfesional, with a little more colour, meaning it gives you that flawless finish.

ModelCo - MEGALASH mascara
The first thing I do when I get a new mascara is check out the brush. I love a big volumising brush that you can really feel working and this didn't disappoint. I'll be sure to post the odd selfie when trying out the mascara so you can see how it does yourself.
